If you are wanting to train your pet dog but you can’t commit to classes or if you have specific areas of training you want to focus on rather than working through a general class syllabus then 1-2-1 training may be what you are looking for. Basic training problems can ruin the relationship between a dog and owner, and if they are not addressed basic training issues can easily develop into more complex behaviour problems. The 1-2-1 dog training service offers individually tailored private dog training sessions that can take place at a time and location that is suitable to you.. Broadly speaking 1-2-1 training, can be used to address any basic training requirements that you have, for example

General obedience
Pulling on the lead
General household manners
Not coming back when called
Jumping up

However, one to one training is not suitable for any behaviour that involve aggression, separation issues, or problems that are complex in terms of motivation or treatment, for these problems a pet behaviour consultation would be needed.

Additionally, if your dog is a young puppy, it is recommended that if you are able too, then you attend puppy classes rather than opting for one to one training. This is due to the additional benefits of socialisation with other dogs and people that can be achieved in a class environment.

1-2-1 training is £30 per one hour session for appointments within a 10 miles radius of Rochester, for appointments outside of a10 mile radius of Rochester additional mileage is charged at 50p per additional mile, (with the total fee being stipulated at the time of booking). The number of sessions required will be dependent upon your individual requirements.
