Snoot-Cut-Out

Prior to launching the Training and behaviour services I had been employed by a local veterinary group as a pet behaviour specialist. Prior to this I had been employed by some of the country's most recognised animal welfare charities, including Battersea dogs and cats home and the RSPCA and I had spent time as a lecturer in animal care at the Berkshire College of Agriculture. I currently hold a BSc (Hons) in Animal Science (Behavioural Studies) that was awarded from Lincoln University and a Post Graduate Diploma in Companion Animal Behaviour Counselling that was awarded from Southampton University. However, because the field of Companion Animal training and Behaviour Counselling is a relatively new discipline and there is much ongoing research in the subject, I also regularly attends seminars, conferences, workshops and webinars so that I remain up to date with the most recent advances in research and behavioural techniques. It is this combination of my academic knowledge, experience and passion for animal welfare that I use to specialise in the prevention and treatment of pet behaviour problems.

Recently attended seminars, conferences, workshops and webinars include

APBC Annual conference, Thinking outside the dog, March 2013

Scary Marys! - Why certain sounds provoke a fear response and how early exposure can avoid the problems (Webinar) - Kris Glover, February 2013
